This comedy night is an intersectional attempt by a Queer POC producer herself to pass the mic & expand the vibrant, diverse international English comedy scene in Berlin even further and create a safe, inclusive, paid, accessible and a fun stage for BIPOC and/or Queer artists with different comedy styles to share their craft. It is also a space to experiment and play with different genres of comedy like - musical comedy, improv comedy, storytelling comedy, sketch comedy, satire, spoken word and stand up comedy to name a few.

NEW LINEUP EVERY MONTH. This month featuring:

Kazim is a multidisciplinary artist and writer from Pakistan, based in Berlin. Her research revolves around decolonisation, the military complex and Pakistan's blasphemy laws. With a background in theatre and academia, she dabbles in all forms of creative expression centered around the body and identity politics. She runs a cafe as part of a queer collective, fighting the transphobes one coffee at a time.

Kristian Hamilton is a London-born drag queen who has made Berlin her home since 2017. Known for her sharp wit and vibrant performances, Kristian occasionally dips into German but is undeniably funnier when delivering her unique brand of comedy in English.

A true lover of all things creative, Kristian’s passion for crafting is reflected in the elaborate, handmade outfits she dons on stage, each piece a testament to her dedication to both fashion and performance.

In 2023, she was a runner-up in The Berlin New Stand-Up Comedian Award, standing out among more than 90 contestants. Her comedy style is a delightful mix of "camp," "silly," and "good" earning her a reputation as one of Berlin’s most exciting and unpredictable performers. Kristian is also the co-host and co-producer of The Irregular Show, a space where the unconventional thrives and laughter knows no bounds.

Headliner - LaDios: The Goddess with a Whip and a Mic and a Mission

Meet LaDios, the fiery Latinx Goddess who’s as comfortable cracking a whip as she is cracking jokes. As a veteran dominatrix, stand-up comedian, and performance artist, she’s built a career on breaking rules, breaking taboos, and breaking the ice with her sharp wit.

Known as Dominanny, this unstoppable femme fatale has spent years navigating the worlds of BDSM and comedy, always with a focus on freedom, consent, and body autonomy. She believes in creating safe spaces—not just for kinks, but for laughs, learning, and unapologetic self-expression.

As the co-founder of Berlin's "Time to Shine," the city's most talked-about kinky comedy night, LaDios brings together the worlds of kink and comedy in a way that’s both provocative and hilarious. The Berliner Magazine raves, *"Simultaneously tender and hard-hitting... Hilarious and insightful... I highly recommend it."* – Johnny Teirman, Editor & Chief.

LaDios is a passionate advocate against the Nordic model and the criminalization of sex work, using her platform to dismantle shame and fight for the rights of sex workers everywhere. But don’t let her serious side fool you—she’ll have you giggling like a submissive in a tickle dungeon one minute, and questioning societal norms the next.

Catch her at her next show, where the only thing sharper than her heels is her tongue. Just remember: whether she’s making you laugh or making you kneel, LaDios is always in control.

The event is hosted by Berlin based, internationally touring and independent standup comedian Anshita Koul from India. Anshita Koul(she/they) is also the co-founder of Clit Comedy Club and Festrogen Comedy Festival in Luxembourg. When she is not touring, they are performing, headlining, hosting and producing two monthly comedy shows in Berlin namely Comedy Bazaar Berlin and Word On The Street. She also teaches virtual and in-person joke writing workshops for individuals and organizations. Seen on the Indian reality TV show Queens of Comedy 2017 and opening the Funny Women Stage Awards 2022 in the UK as one of the only comedians from Europe who made it to the finals, Anshita has created a name for themselves in the English comedy scene in Europe with their political satires, punch up routines and a funny itch to decolonise standup comedy.
